I couldn't be more in love with my Westie princess, Madison Jane. She is almost two years old and still very much a puppy. She makes life even more precious. She actually inspired me to open an online pet boutique and bakery, Maddie's Backyard (www.maddiesbackyard.com).
Maddie is a unique one, that's for sure. While she has inherent terrier traits, she is also is a tad quirky. For instance, Maddie LOVES to watch television. It's actually rather annoying. Whenever a dog comes on television, or an animal for that matter, Maddie goes WILD. She starts barking and runs to the television, gets on her back legs and sticks her nose in the air. However, it certainly is amusing. :)
I plan to blog regularly about Maddie and issues relevant to pet enthusiasts. Did I mention I am a firm advocate for shutting down every single puppy mill in the United States? Anyone else think it is devastating what these poor animals go through?
